From monetization issues, a 🔴LIVE Camp episode on WW1 with Benjamin Hett, and even a UAP hearing, this week was full of craziness that your not going to want to have missed out on. What was your favorite part from the LIVE? Were you in the tent with us? Let us know!! 📖

…but first, today in history👇

Mafia: On November 15, 1984, Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela, who later earned fame as a notorious Colombian drug lord and a key figure in the Cali Cartel, was apprehended in Spain. The Colombian government stepped in to prevent Spain from extraditing Rodríguez Orejuela to the United States. Instead, he was sent back to Colombia, where he faced trial on the same charges but was acquitted. At the time of apprehension, he was in Spain to hold meetings and expand the cartel's operations across Europe. By the early 1990s, the Cali cartel had risen to prominence, controlling an estimated 80% of the American and 90% of the European cocaine markets by the mid-1990s.

War: On November 15, 1957, during an extensive and meandering interview with an American reporter, Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev made a bold and provocative claim that the Soviet Union possessed missile superiority over the United States. In a dramatic and confrontational manner, he challenged America to a missile “shooting match” to substantiate his assertion. This interview, filled with Khrushchev's characteristic bravado and confidence, further intensified the already growing fears in the United States. Many Americans were becoming increasingly anxious that their nation was falling perilously behind the Soviets in the ongoing and escalating arms race. The interview not only captured the attention of the American public but also heightened tensions between the two superpowers during the Cold War.

Religion: On November 15, 1397, Tommaso Parentucelli who later became known to the world as Pope Nicholas V was born to Andreola Bosi of Fivizzano and the physician Bartolomeo Parentucelli in Sarzana, Italy. He was head of the Catholic Church and ruler of the Papal States from 6 March 1447 until his death, in March 1455. Pope Eugene IV made him a cardinal in 1446 after successful trips to Italy and Germany, and when Eugene died the next year, Parentucelli was elected in his place. He took his name Nicholas in memory of his obligations to Niccolò Albergati.

Mafia: On November 15, 2019, a jury found Steven L. Crea, of the Luchese Family, along with three co-defendants, guilty following a six-week trial presided over by U.S. District Judge Cathy Seibel. Subsequently, he received a life sentence, 400,000 USD in fine, and was ordered to forfeit $1 million after being convicted for the 2013 murder of Michael Meldish, conspiracy to commit racketeering, and other felonies. Steven L. Crea held the position of Underboss, or second-in-command, within the Luchese Family of La Cosa Nostra, one of the "Five Families" that comprise the Mafia in the New York City area. From 2000 until his arrest in 2017, Crea played a leadership role in the Luchese Family, which generated millions of dollars in profits from criminal activities carried out by its members and associates in New York City, Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey, and other locations.
